IPad 2 is better than Asus Transformer Prime, getting a global score of 62.1 against 56.3. IPad 2 comes with iOS 7.x OS, while Asus Transformer Prime works with Android 4.0.3 OS. IPad 2's design is just a little heavier but thinner than the Asus Transformer Prime, and both were only released 8 months apart.
The Asus Transformer Prime counts with a bit better processing unit than Apple iPad 2, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and 2 more cpu cores. Asus Transformer Prime has just a bit better display than Apple iPad 2, because it has a just a bit more pixels per screen inch, a slightly higher resolution of 800 x 1280px and a quite bigger screen.
Asus Transformer Prime has a bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Apple iPad 2, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Asus Transformer Prime also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB. The iPad 2 features a much better battery lifetime than Asus Transformer Prime.
Asus Transformer Prime shoots greater videos and photos than Apple iPad 2, and although they both have the same aperture, the Asus Transformer Prime also has a way higher video quality and a back facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
