Comparison review
Apple iPad 3 has an overall score of 66, which is much better than Asus Transformer Prime's general score of 56.3. The Apple iPad 3 construction is just a little thinner but heavier than Asus Transformer Prime, and they were released with only a couple months difference. The Apple iPad 3 comes with iOS 7.x OS, and Asus Transformer Prime comes with Android 4.0.3 OS.
The iPad 3 counts with a much sharper display than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot more pixels per display inch and a lot better 1536 x 2048 resolution. Asus Transformer Prime features a little better processing power than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the Asus Transformer Prime also has a higher number of cores.
IPad 3 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Asus Transformer Prime, although it has a way less megapixels camera and a lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, they both have a same size camera aperture. Asus Transformer Prime has a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than iPad 3, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 32 GB and 32 GB more internal memory.
The iPad 3 counts with a much better battery lifetime than Asus Transformer Prime.
In addition to being the best tablet in our current comparison, iPad 3 is also the cheapest.
