IPad Air is a lot better than the Asus Transformer Prime, having a 77.9 score against 56.3. IPad Air is a newer portable tablet, and it is also lighter and noticeably thinner than the Asus Transformer Prime. The iPad Air counts with iOS 8.x operating system, while Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3 operating system.
IPad Air features a way better screen than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a lot better pixels number per inch of display. The Apple iPad Air has a faster processing unit than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), and they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the Apple iPad Air also counts with a 64 bits processor and an extra GPU.
IPad Air counts with a quite bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory. The iPad Air captures clearer photographs and videos than Asus Transformer Prime, although it has a lower 1920x1080 video quality and a lot lower resolution camera in the back, they both have the same diafragm aperture.
