Comparison review
The Dell Venue 8 Pro is a bit better than Asus VivoTab 8, having a 59.6 score against 55.6. Dell Venue 8 Pro is a heavier device than Asus VivoTab 8, but both are 0.35inches thick. Both of these tablets work with Windows operating system, but the Dell Venue 8 Pro has a more recent 8.1 Pro version and Asus VivoTab 8 has Windows 8.1 version.
Dell Venue 8 Pro's CPU is just as good as the processor in Asus VivoTab 8, both of them have a Quad-Core processor and 2 GB of RAM. Dell Venue 8 Pro has a display that is just as good as Asus VivoTab 8's display, both of them have a screen with the same size, an equal 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and the same screen pixel density.
The Dell Venue 8 Pro features a superior storage for apps and games than Asus VivoTab 8, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports up to 64 GB, the Dell Venue 8 Pro also has more internal storage capacity. The Dell Venue 8 Pro has a much better camera than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has a much better 5 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
Dell Venue 8 Pro has a superior battery performance than Asus VivoTab 8.
Although Dell Venue 8 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Asus VivoTab 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus VivoTab 8. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Asus VivoTab 8, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
