The HTC Flyer has a score of 58.7, which is a little bit better than Asus VivoTab 8's global score of 55.6. HTC Flyer has Android 3.2 OS, while Asus VivoTab 8 counts with Windows 8.1 OS. The HTC Flyer design is incredibly heavier and incredibly thicker than the Asus VivoTab 8. The Asus VivoTab 8 has a much better screen than HTC Flyer, because it has a little bit more pixels per inch in the screen, a bit bigger display and a better 1280 x 800px resolution.

Asus VivoTab 8 features a slightly bigger memory capacity for applications and games than HTC Flyer, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Asus VivoTab 8 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 64 GB. The Asus VivoTab 8 has a bit better CPU than HTC Flyer, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory and a higher number of faster cores.

HTC Flyer counts with a very superior camera than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has a back camera with a much higher 5 mega pixels resolution. HTC Flyer counts with a way better battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab 8.

HTC Flyer is a bit more expensive than Asus VivoTab 8, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
