The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has an overall score of 61.7, which is better than the Asus VivoTab 8's 55.6 global score. Despite being the best portable tablet in this comparison review, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE construction is a little heavier and thicker than Asus VivoTab 8. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE comes with Android 4.1 operating system, while Asus VivoTab 8 comes with Windows 8.1 operating system.

The Asus VivoTab 8 has a much better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a bit greater pixels count in each inch in the display, a higher 1280 x 800 resolution and a little bit larger display. The Asus VivoTab 8 features a much greater memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Asus VivoTab 8 also has 32 GB internal memory capacity.

Asus VivoTab 8 has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with 2 more CPU cores and a larger amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with a much longer battery life than Asus VivoTab 8. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features a superior camera than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has a camera in the back with a way better resolution.

Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is also very cheap compared to the other devices, making buying this tablet an easy decision.
