Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is slightly better than Asus VivoTab 8, with a score of 60.8 against 55.6. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a somewhat thicker and just a little bit heavier tablet than the Asus VivoTab 8. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has Android 4.1.2 operating system, while Asus VivoTab 8 has Windows 8.1 operating system.

Asus VivoTab 8 counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a just a little better pixels number in each inch in the display, a bit bigger screen and a better 1280 x 800 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features as much memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as the Asus VivoTab 8 one, both of them have a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB and exactly the same internal storage.

The Asus VivoTab 8 has a superior processing power than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a higher number of cores and a greater amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features a bit better camera than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has a lot better resolution back facing camera. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with a way better battery duration than Asus VivoTab 8.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Asus VivoTab 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Asus VivoTab 8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Asus VivoTab 8, giving up a couple specs and features.
