The Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a bit better than the Asus VivoTab 8, having a 58.1 score against 55.6. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 works with Android 3.0 OS, and Asus VivoTab 8 has Windows 8.1 OS. Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a a little bit thinner but notably heavier tablet than Asus VivoTab 8. Asus VivoTab 8 counts with a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1280 x 800 resolution, the Asus VivoTab 8 also counts with a little bit higher pixels number per inch in the screen.

The Asus VivoTab 8 counts with a quite superior processing power than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a higher number of faster cores. Galaxy Tab 8.9 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a little bit more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Asus VivoTab 8, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
