Samsung Galaxy Tab has a general score of 58.6, which is a little bit better than Asus VivoTab 8's 55.6 score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab counts with Android 2.3.3 operating system, while Asus VivoTab 8 works with Windows 8.1 operating system. Samsung Galaxy Tab's design is much thicker and heavier than the Asus VivoTab 8.
The Asus VivoTab 8 has a much better screen than Galaxy Tab, because it has a quite larger display, a little bit greater amount of pixels per inch of display and a better resolution of 1280 x 800px. The Asus VivoTab 8 has a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab. They have the same 32 GB internal storage capacity.
Asus VivoTab 8 has a better performing processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a greater number of cores (and faster) and 1,5 GB more RAM. The Galaxy Tab captures much better pictures and videos than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has a much higher 3 mega pixels resolution back camera. Samsung Galaxy Tab has a much better battery life than Asus VivoTab 8.
In addition to being the best tablet in this comparison, Samsung Galaxy Tab is also a lot cheaper, making it a no doubt choice.
