Both tablets we are comparing here include the same Windows 8 OS (Operating System).

Acer Iconia W510 features just a bit better looking screen than Asus VivoTab, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 768 x 1366, the Acer Iconia W510 also counts with a little greater display pixel density. Asus VivoTab has a little bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage capacity.

The Asus VivoTab has a little better hardware performance than Acer Iconia W510. Both have a 2 GB RAM memory, a 533 megahertz graphics processing unit and a Dual-Core CPU. The Acer Iconia W510 features a much better battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab. Asus VivoTab takes clearer photos and videos than Acer Iconia W510. Both have the same video frame rates, the same 1920x1080 video quality and a 8 MP resolution back camera.

Although Asus VivoTab is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Acer Iconia W510. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Asus VivoTab, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Acer Iconia W510, resigning a couple features and specifications.
