The Apple iPad mini 2 is a lot better than the Asus VivoTab, getting a general score of 77.2 against 57.5. Apple iPad mini 2 works with iOS 8.x OS, and Asus VivoTab comes with Windows 8 OS. Apple iPad mini 2 is a newer tablet, and it's also thinner and extremely lighter than the Asus VivoTab. Apple iPad mini 2 features a little better performance than Asus VivoTab, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have 2 CPU cores, the Apple iPad mini 2 also counts with a 64-bits processor and a faster 600 megahertz graphics processing unit.
The iPad mini 2 has a much sharper screen than Asus VivoTab, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a much greater pixels count per screen inch. IPad mini 2 counts with a greater camera than Asus VivoTab, although it has a back-facing camera with much less megapixels resolution and a lower (Full HD) video definition.
