IPad mini 3 is much better than the Asus VivoTab, getting a general score of 77.5 against 57.5. IPad mini 3 comes with iOS 8.x OS, and Asus VivoTab has Windows 8 OS. The iPad mini 3 is a way newer tablet, and it's also somewhat thinner and incredibly lighter than Asus VivoTab. The iPad mini 3 counts with a much better looking screen than Asus VivoTab, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1536 x 2048px and a lot higher pixel number per inch of screen.
The iPad mini 3 counts with a bit superior CPU than Asus VivoTab, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, and they both have a Dual-Core processor, the iPad mini 3 also counts with a faster graphics co-processor and a 64-bits processor. The Apple iPad mini 3 shoots way better pictures and videos than Asus VivoTab, although it has a lower video resolution and a way less megapixels resolution back camera.
IPad mini 3 features a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus VivoTab, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage capacity. IPad mini 3 counts with a much longer battery duration than Asus VivoTab.
The Apple iPad mini 3 costs a lot more than Asus VivoTab, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
