Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a score of 58.1, which is slightly better than the Asus VivoTab's score of 57.5. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a much lighter tablet device than Asus VivoTab, but they are equally thin. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with Android 3.0 OS, and Asus VivoTab works with Windows 8 OS.

The Asus VivoTab has a greater hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Asus VivoTab also has a graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a better looking display than Asus VivoTab, because although it has a little bit lower 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixels density.

The Asus VivoTab captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a back camera with a lot higher 8 megapixels resolution. The Asus VivoTab and the Galaxy Tab 8.9 both have really similar storage for applications and games, and although the Galaxy Tab 8.9 has no slot for SD memory cards, they both have equal 64 GB internal storage.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a superior battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab.

In addition to being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is also cheap compared to the Asus VivoTab, which makes it a simple decision.
