Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is better than Asus VivoTab Note 8, having a score of 64.8 against 57.5. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 construction is incredibly thinner and lighter than Asus VivoTab Note 8. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 works with Android 4.0.4 operating system, while Asus VivoTab Note 8 counts with Windows 8.1 operating system.
Asus VivoTab Note 8 counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with more RAM and more cpu cores. The Asus VivoTab Note 8 features a slightly better screen than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has a just a bit lower count of pixels per display inch, and they both have an equal 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, the Asus VivoTab Note 8 also counts with a little bit larger display.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features more storage capacity for apps and games than Asus VivoTab Note 8. Both of them have the same internal storage. Asus VivoTab Note 8 counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a camera with way more MP. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a much better battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab Note 8.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Asus VivoTab Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus VivoTab Note 8. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 7.7, otherwise you can save some money and get the Asus VivoTab Note 8, resigning a couple features and specifications.
