The Galaxy Tab is a bit better than Asus VivoTab Note 8, getting a global score of 58.6 against 57.5. The Galaxy Tab counts with Android 2.3.3 OS, while Asus VivoTab Note 8 counts with Windows 8.1 OS. The Galaxy Tab is a just a little thicker portable tablet than the Asus VivoTab Note 8, but they weight the same.

Asus VivoTab Note 8 features a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher resolution of 1280 x 800, a bit bigger screen and a quite better display pixel density. The Asus VivoTab Note 8 features a superior processor than Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and 3 more CPU cores.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Asus VivoTab Note 8, although it has a back facing camera with a lot worse 3 MP resolution. Asus VivoTab Note 8 has a much better memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab features a way better battery life than Asus VivoTab Note 8.
