Comparison review
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a general score of 57.6, which is just a bit better than the Asus VivoTab Note 8's 57.5 general score. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is a noticeably thinner and somewhat lighter tablet than the Asus VivoTab Note 8. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, while Asus VivoTab Note 8 comes with Windows 8.1 operating system.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD and Asus VivoTab Note 8 both feature very similar processors, although the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has more CPU cores and 1 GB more RAM. Asus VivoTab Note 8 features a little more vivid display than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, although it has a lot worse pixels density and a lot lower resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, they both have a same size display.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD takes way better photos and videos than Asus VivoTab Note 8, because it has a much more mega-pixels camera. The Asus VivoTab Note 8 features a bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 48 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a much better battery performance than Asus VivoTab Note 8.
In addition to being the best tablet in our current comparison, Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is also a lot cheaper.
