Comparison review
The Asus VivoTab RT has a global score of 59.6, which is slightly better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's 59.2 global score. The Asus VivoTab RT construction is a little thinner than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, although it is way heavier and was released about a year before. Asus VivoTab RT has Windows RT OS, while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 OS.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a more powerful CPU than Asus VivoTab RT, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit and a 2 GB RAM memory, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has an extra graphics co-processor. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with an incredibly better looking display than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a much greater display pixel density and a way higher 1200 x 1920 resolution.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 and Asus VivoTab RT count with very similar storage capacity for applications and games, and although the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has no slot for SD memory cards, they both have the same 32 GB internal storage. The Asus VivoTab RT shoots greater pictures and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a battery life that is very similar to Asus VivoTab RT's battery life.
Although Asus VivoTab RT is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your budget.
