Comparison review
Apple iPad 3 is much better than the Asus VivoTab RT, with a 71.1 score against 61. The Apple iPad 3 has iOS 6.1 operating system, and Asus VivoTab RT comes with Windows RT operating system. Even though the Apple iPad 3 is a better tablet than Asus VivoTab RT, we must note that it is also thicker and heavier.
The Apple iPad 3 has a much better display than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a way higher amount of pixels per display inch and a way better resolution of 1536 x 2048px. Asus VivoTab RT features a bit faster CPU than iPad 3, because it has a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of faster cores.
IPad 3 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Asus VivoTab RT, although it has a much lower 5 mega-pixels resolution back camera, a lower 1920x1080 video quality and a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and video. Asus VivoTab RT and iPad 3 count with really similar storage to store more games and applications, and although the iPad 3 has no slot for an SD memory card, they both have the same internal storage.
Apple iPad 3 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab RT.
The iPad 3 costs a bit more than the Asus VivoTab RT, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
