The iPad 4 has a general score of 70.8, which is better than the Asus VivoTab RT's global score of 61. Despite being the best tablet in this review, iPad 4 is a heavier and thicker tablet than Asus VivoTab RT. The iPad 4 works with iOS 7.x operating system, and Asus VivoTab RT works with Windows RT operating system.
The iPad 4 has a much better looking display than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a way higher count of pixels per inch of display. IPad 4 counts with a bit faster CPU than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a graphics processing unit.
Apple iPad 4 has a very superior memory to install games and applications than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage capacity. IPad 4's battery duration is very similar to the Asus VivoTab RT one. The Apple iPad 4 features a slightly better camera than Asus VivoTab RT, although it has a camera with a way worse resolution, a lower 1920x1080 video resolution and a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light images.
Although iPad 4 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Asus VivoTab RT, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus VivoTab RT. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Asus VivoTab RT, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
