The Asus VivoTab RT is a little bit better than Google Nexus 7, getting a 61 score against 59.3. The Asus VivoTab RT design is noticeably heavier but somewhat thinner than the Google Nexus 7, and both were released with only a couple months difference. The Asus VivoTab RT counts with Windows RT operating system, while Google Nexus 7 works with Android 5.1 operating system.
Google Nexus 7 counts with just a bit better performance than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Google Nexus 7 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The Google Nexus 7 features a much better looking screen than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a little bit worse resolution of 800 x 1280, it also counts with a greater count of pixels per display inch.
Asus VivoTab RT has a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Google Nexus 7, because it has 32 GB more internal memory capacity. The Google Nexus 7 has a much longer battery duration than Asus VivoTab RT. Asus VivoTab RT captures way better videos and photos than Google Nexus 7.
Although Asus VivoTab RT is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Nexus 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Nexus 7. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Asus VivoTab RT, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Google Nexus 7, resigning a couple specs and features.
