The Asus VivoTab RT is a bit better than the LG G Pad 8.0, getting a score of 61 against 58.6. The Asus VivoTab RT is a extremely heavier but somewhat thinner tablet than LG G Pad 8.0. The Asus VivoTab RT works with Windows RT OS, while LG G Pad 8.0 comes with Android 5.0 OS. LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a bit better processor than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have 4 processing cores, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with an extra graphics processor.
The LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a more vivid screen than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has a lot smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, it also counts with a quite greater pixels density. Asus VivoTab RT counts with a way better camera than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Asus VivoTab RT also has a back-facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
The Asus VivoTab RT features a superior storage capacity for applications and games than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage. LG G Pad 8.0 has a very superior battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab RT.
Although Asus VivoTab RT is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G Pad 8.0. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Asus VivoTab RT, but if you don't you can save some money and get the LG G Pad 8.0, giving up some specifications.
