Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a score of 62.7, which is a little bit better than the Asus VivoTab RT's overall score of 61. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has Android 4.0 OS, and Asus VivoTab RT works with Windows RT OS. Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better portable tablet than Asus VivoTab RT, we must note that it is also a just a bit heavier and thicker portable tablet.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a bit faster CPU than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has less RAM memory and lesser cores , it also counts with a graphics co-processor. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and Asus VivoTab RT have really similar screens, and although the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a little bit lower pixels density and a little worse 800 x 1280 resolution, they both have a screen of the same size.
The Asus VivoTab RT features a lot better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a camera with much more mega pixels. The Asus VivoTab RT counts with a very superior memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a much better battery duration than Asus VivoTab RT.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Asus VivoTab RT, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus VivoTab RT. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Asus VivoTab RT, resigning some specifications.
