Comparison review
The Asus VivoTab RT has a general score of 61, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9's 58.1 overall score. Asus VivoTab RT comes with Windows RT operating system, and Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with Android 3.0 operating system. Asus VivoTab RT's construction is newer and just a little thinner than the Galaxy Tab 8.9's, but it's somewhat heavier.
The Asus VivoTab RT features a superior processor than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has 2 more cores. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a bit more vivid display than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a bit worse 800 x 1280px resolution, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch of display.
The Asus VivoTab RT has a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a way higher (Full HD) video definition and a lot more MP back facing camera. Galaxy Tab 8.9's memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos is just as good as Asus VivoTab RT's one, and although the Galaxy Tab 8.9 has no external memory slot, they both have the same 64 GB internal memory.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a much better battery performance than Asus VivoTab RT.
The Asus VivoTab RT costs a little more than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
