Comparison review
The Asus VivoTab RT has a global score of 61, which is a bit better than Galaxy Tab's overall score of 58.6. The Asus VivoTab RT is a newer and much thinner tablet device than the Galaxy Tab, although it's also incredibly heavier. The Asus VivoTab RT has Windows RT OS, while Galaxy Tab works with Android 2.3.3 OS.
Galaxy Tab and Asus VivoTab RT both count with similar displays, because although the Galaxy Tab has a much smaller screen and a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024px, it also counts with a quite better pixels density. Asus VivoTab RT has a faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has more RAM and a larger number of cores.
Asus VivoTab RT features a superior camera than Galaxy Tab, because it has a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels and a lot better video quality. The Asus VivoTab RT counts with a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Tab counts with a very superior battery performance than Asus VivoTab RT.
Although Asus VivoTab RT is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Asus VivoTab RT, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab, letting go a couple features and specs.
