Comparison review
The Acer Iconia W511 is just a bit better than the Asus VivoTab Smart, with a general score of 59.5 against 58.7. Both tablets in our current comparison have Windows OS (operating system), but Acer Iconia W511 has a newer 8 Pro version while Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8 version, providing you some extra features and performance tweaks. The Acer Iconia W511 design weights the same than Asus VivoTab Smart, but it's a bit thinner.
The Acer Iconia W511 features a little more vivid screen than Asus VivoTab Smart. Both of them have a display with the same size, the same amount of pixels in each inch in the display and exactly the same resolution of 768 x 1366. Acer Iconia W511 counts with a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Asus VivoTab Smart. They have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Acer Iconia W511, and although they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a GPU. The Acer Iconia W511 has a much better battery performance than Asus VivoTab Smart. Asus VivoTab Smart shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Acer Iconia W511. Both have a 8 megapixels back-facing camera.
In addition to being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, Acer Iconia W511 is also a bargain compared to the other tablets, which makes this tablet a no doubt choice.
