Comparison review
IPad 3 has an overall score of 71.1, which is much better than the Asus VivoTab Smart's score of 58.7. IPad 3's design is somewhat heavier but just a bit thinner than the Asus VivoTab Smart. The iPad 3 works with iOS 6.1 operating system, and Asus VivoTab Smart comes with Windows 8 operating system.
The Asus VivoTab Smart has a superior processing unit than iPad 3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a graphics processing unit and 1 GB more RAM. IPad 3 features a more vivid display than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher screen pixels density and a lot higher resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels.
The Asus VivoTab Smart and the iPad 3 both feature quite similar memory for apps and games, and although the iPad 3 has no SD memory card expansion slot, they both have equal internal memory. The iPad 3 counts with a much longer battery duration than Asus VivoTab Smart. IPad 3 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Asus VivoTab Smart, although it has a back facing camera with a much lower 5 mega-pixels resolution, a worse video resolution and a tinier camera aperture which is not good for low-light photography and videos.
The iPad 3 costs the same than Asus VivoTab Smart, making this tablet a simple decision.
