Comparison review
The Google Pixel Slate has a score of 79.3, which is much better than Asus VivoTab Smart's 58.7 general score. The Google Pixel Slate comes with Chrome OS operating system, and Asus VivoTab Smart comes with Windows 8 operating system. Google Pixel Slate's construction is noticeably heavier but incredibly thinner than Asus VivoTab Smart.
Asus VivoTab Smart has a bit faster CPU than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has 14 GB lesser RAM, and they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Asus VivoTab Smart also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. The Google Pixel Slate counts with a better screen than Asus VivoTab Smart, because it has a much better 3000 x 2000 pixels resolution, a lot more pixels per display inch and a larger screen.
Google Pixel Slate captures better photos and videos than Asus VivoTab Smart, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same resolution back facing camera and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Google Pixel Slate also has a bigger camera aperture. The Google Pixel Slate features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory capacity.
Google Pixel Slate's battery life is very similar to the Asus VivoTab Smart one.
Google Pixel Slate is a lot more expensive than the Asus VivoTab Smart, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
