Asus VivoTab Smart is a little bit better than LG G Pad 10.1, getting a general score of 58.7 against 58.4. Asus VivoTab Smart's design is just a little bit thicker and a bit heavier than LG G Pad 10.1. Asus VivoTab Smart counts with Windows 8 operating system, while LG G Pad 10.1 works with Android 5.0 operating system.

Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a bit superior processing unit than LG G Pad 10.1, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster), it also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory and a faster graphics co-processor working at 533 megahertz. Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a little sharper screen than LG G Pad 10.1, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a bit greater quantity of pixels in each inch of display and a quite better resolution of 768 x 1366 pixels.

Asus VivoTab Smart features a much better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G Pad 10.1, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. LG G Pad 10.1 has a much longer battery duration than Asus VivoTab Smart.

Asus VivoTab Smart has a very superior camera than LG G Pad 10.1, because it has a back camera with way more megapixels.

Although Asus VivoTab Smart is a better device, it costs more money than LG G Pad 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G Pad 10.1. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Asus VivoTab Smart, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the LG G Pad 10.1, giving up a couple features and specifications.
