Comparison review
The Asus VivoTab Smart has a general score of 58.7, which is just a bit better than LG G Pad 8.0's 58.6 overall score. Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8 OS, and LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0 OS. The Asus VivoTab Smart body is a lot heavier but a bit thinner than the LG G Pad 8.0. The LG G Pad 8.0 features a better looking display than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1280 x 800px and a way smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit better display pixel density.
The Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a much better memory capacity for applications and games than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Asus VivoTab Smart features a bit superior processor than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and a much better 533 MHz graphics processing unit.
LG G Pad 8.0 has a much better battery performance than Asus VivoTab Smart. The Asus VivoTab Smart shoots greater photos and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a back facing camera with a much higher resolution.
Although Asus VivoTab Smart is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G Pad 8.0. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the LG G Pad 8.0, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
