Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a bit better than Asus VivoTab Smart, getting a 61.4 score against 58.7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) works with Android 4.1 operating system, while Asus VivoTab Smart works with Windows 8 operating system. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a just a little bit heavier device than the Asus VivoTab Smart, but both of them are 0.38inches thick.
The Asus VivoTab Smart features a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a little higher resolution of 768 x 1366 and a just a bit higher pixel amount in each display inch. The Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a much better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
The Asus VivoTab Smart features a quite superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have 2 cpu cores, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has more RAM and an extra graphics processor. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a much longer battery duration than Asus VivoTab Smart.
Asus VivoTab Smart takes much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a lot more megapixels back-facing camera and a lot higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it costs more than Asus VivoTab Smart, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus VivoTab Smart. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Asus VivoTab Smart, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
