The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a score of 60.8, which is slightly better than the Asus VivoTab Smart's 58.7 overall score. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus comes with Android 4.1.2 OS, while Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8 OS. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's body is lighter but just a little thicker than the Asus VivoTab Smart.

Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features a screen that's just as good as the Asus VivoTab Smart one, because although the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a really smaller screen and a much lower 600 x 1024 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit better quantity of pixels per display inch. Asus VivoTab Smart has slightly more memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.

The Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a quite better processing power than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has more RAM memory and a graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a much longer battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab Smart.

Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a very superior camera than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a much better 1920x1080 video quality and a way more mega pixels back-facing camera.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Asus VivoTab Smart, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus VivoTab Smart. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Asus VivoTab Smart, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
