Comparison review

The Amazon Kindle Fire 2 has a global score of 45.3, which is just a bit better than the Barnes & Noble Nook HD+'s score of 42.3. Amazon Kindle Fire 2's body has the same thickness than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+, but it is noticeably lighter. Both devices in our current comparison include the same Android 4.0 OS (Operating System), so both should count with very similar OS features.

Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ features a bit faster CPU than Amazon Kindle Fire 2, although it has a weaker 384 megahertz GPU, they both have a 1 GB RAM and 2 processing cores. Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ has a better display than Amazon Kindle Fire 2, because it has a lot better resolution of 1280 x 1920px, a way better count of pixels per display inch and a larger screen.

Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ and Amazon Kindle Fire 2 feature very similar cameras.
