IPad Air 2 has an overall score of 74.2, which is way better than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+'s 42.3 global score. The iPad Air 2 is a a lot newer tablet, and it is also somewhat lighter and extremely thinner than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+. The iPad Air 2 works with iOS 8.x operating system, while Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ comes with Android 4.0 operating system.

IPad Air 2 features a little better performance than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+, because although it has an inferior number of cores and doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a 64-bits processor and a greater amount of RAM. IPad Air 2 has a bit better looking screen than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+, because it has a little higher resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, a bit more pixels per inch of screen and a quite larger screen.

The iPad Air 2 captures a lot better photographs and videos than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+. The Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ counts with a much greater memory for apps and games than Apple iPad Air 2, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 32 GB.
