The Apple iPad Air is much better than the Barnes & Noble Nook HD+, getting a overall score of 74.1 against 42.3. Apple iPad Air's body is newer, extremely thinner and a bit lighter than the Barnes & Noble Nook HD+. The Apple iPad Air works with iOS 8.x operating system, while Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ has Android 4.0 operating system.

The iPad Air counts with a quite superior processing power than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+, and although they both have 2 cpu cores and the same RAM memory amount, the iPad Air also has a much better graphics processor and a 64 bits processor. IPad Air features a little bit better screen than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a bit higher 1536 x 2048 resolution and a little more pixels per display inch.

IPad Air has just a bit bigger memory to install applications and games than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory capacity. The iPad Air features a way better camera than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+. Apple iPad Air has a much longer battery life than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+.
