The Samsung Galaxy Tab has a score of 58.6, which is a lot better than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+'s general score of 43.3. Despite of the fact Samsung Galaxy Tab is noticeably older and just a little bit thicker than the Barnes & Noble Nook HD+, it's construction is still extremely lighter. Both tablets in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab has 2.3.3 version and Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ has Android 4.0.
Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ has a better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a GPU, a higher number of cores and a higher amount of RAM. The Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ counts with an incredibly better display than Galaxy Tab, because it has a way better 1280 x 1920 resolution, a way better display pixels density and a larger screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab has a way better camera than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+. The Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ counts with much more memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab. They have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Tab features a way better battery performance than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+.
The Galaxy Tab costs a little more than Barnes & Noble Nook HD+, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
