Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab is way better than Barnes & Noble Nook HD, with a overall score of 58.6 against 41. Both tablets we compare here have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab has older 2.3.3 version and Barnes & Noble Nook HD has Android 4.0. Although it's the best portable tablet in this review, we must highlight that it's also a incredibly older, just a little thicker and somewhat heavier portable tablet.

Barnes & Noble Nook HD counts with a faster CPU than Galaxy Tab, because it has a greater number of cores (and faster), 512 MB more RAM memory and a graphics co-processor. Barnes & Noble Nook HD has a sharper display than Galaxy Tab, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Barnes & Noble Nook HD also has a lot better 900 x 1440 pixels resolution and more pixels per inch of display.

Samsung Galaxy Tab counts with a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Barnes & Noble Nook HD, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 24 GB more internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab features a very superior camera than Barnes & Noble Nook HD.

Galaxy Tab features a really longer battery life than Barnes & Noble Nook HD.

Samsung Galaxy Tab costs a bit more than the Barnes & Noble Nook HD, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
