Acer Iconia A1 is slightly better than BlackBerry PlayBook, getting a 55.4 score against 50.9. The Acer Iconia A1 counts with Android 4.1 OS, while BlackBerry PlayBook has BlackBerry Tablet OS OS. Acer Iconia A1 is a way newer tablet than BlackBerry PlayBook, but it's somewhat thicker and just a little heavier.

Acer Iconia A1 counts with just a bit better processing power than BlackBerry PlayBook, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Acer Iconia A1 also has 2 more processing cores and a much better graphics processing unit. The Acer Iconia A1 counts with a bit better looking screen than BlackBerry PlayBook, because although it has a just a little worse pixels density, it also counts with a bit larger screen and a slightly better 768 x 1024 pixels resolution.

BlackBerry PlayBook takes slightly better videos and photos than Acer Iconia A1. Both have the same video resolution, a 5 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and the same 30 fps video frame rates. The Acer Iconia A1 has a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than BlackBerry PlayBook, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal storage capacity, the Acer Iconia A1 also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB.

The Acer Iconia A1 features a really longer battery duration than BlackBerry PlayBook.

Despite of being the best tablet in our comparison, Acer Iconia A1 is also a bargain compared to the other tablets.
