Comparison review
BlackBerry PlayBook is just a bit better than Alcatel OneTouch EVO 7 HD, getting a 54.2 score against 51.7. BlackBerry PlayBook comes with BlackBerry Tablet OS operating system, while Alcatel OneTouch EVO 7 HD has Android 4.1 operating system. The BlackBerry PlayBook design has the same thickness than the Alcatel OneTouch EVO 7 HD, but it is heavier.
The Alcatel OneTouch EVO 7 HD features just a little better performance than BlackBerry PlayBook, although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, they both have 1 GB of RAM memory and a Dual-Core processing unit. Alcatel OneTouch EVO 7 HD features a bit sharper display than BlackBerry PlayBook, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Alcatel OneTouch EVO 7 HD also has a higher count of pixels per inch in the display and a higher 800 x 1280 resolution.
BlackBerry PlayBook has a superior memory to install applications and games than Alcatel OneTouch EVO 7 HD, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. The Alcatel OneTouch EVO 7 HD features a much better battery life than BlackBerry PlayBook. BlackBerry PlayBook takes a lot better videos and photos than Alcatel OneTouch EVO 7 HD, because it has a much higher resolution back facing camera.
BlackBerry PlayBook is a bit more expensive than Alcatel OneTouch EVO 7 HD, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
