Comparison review
Asus VivoTab Smart is slightly better than BlackBerry PlayBook, having a 58.7 score against 54.2. Asus VivoTab Smart's construction is a little bit thinner but extremely heavier than BlackBerry PlayBook. The Asus VivoTab Smart counts with Windows 8 operating system, and BlackBerry PlayBook works with BlackBerry Tablet OS operating system.
BlackBerry PlayBook and Asus VivoTab Smart count with very similar displays, because although the Asus VivoTab Smart has a bit worse screen pixel density, it also counts with a higher resolution of 768 x 1366 pixels and a way larger display. The Asus VivoTab Smart counts with just a little better processing power than BlackBerry PlayBook, because although it has a weaker graphics processor working at 533 MHz, and they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Asus VivoTab Smart also counts with 1 GB more RAM.
The Asus VivoTab Smart has a little bit better camera than BlackBerry PlayBook, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels. The BlackBerry PlayBook and the Asus VivoTab Smart have very similar memory capacity for apps and games, they have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory.
Asus VivoTab Smart's battery performance is very similar to the BlackBerry PlayBook one.
Although Asus VivoTab Smart is a better device, it costs a lot more than BlackBerry PlayBook, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as BlackBerry PlayBook. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Asus VivoTab Smart, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the BlackBerry PlayBook, resigning some features and specifications.
