Comparison review
The LG G Pad 8.0 is slightly better than the BlackBerry PlayBook, getting a overall score of 58.6 against 54.2. LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0 OS, while BlackBerry PlayBook counts with BlackBerry Tablet OS OS. LG G Pad 8.0's construction has the same thickness than the BlackBerry PlayBook, but it is somewhat lighter.
The LG G Pad 8.0 has a bit more powerful processing unit than BlackBerry PlayBook, because although it has a weaker graphics co-processor running at 450 MHz, and they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with a larger number of cores. LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a more vivid display than BlackBerry PlayBook, because it has a quite better quantity of pixels per inch of display, a higher 1280 x 800 resolution and a little bit bigger screen.
The BlackBerry PlayBook has a much better storage capacity for games and applications than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. BlackBerry PlayBook has a much better camera than LG G Pad 8.0. Both of them have the same (Full HD) video resolution, a camera in the back with a 5 MP resolution and the same video frame rate.
The LG G Pad 8.0 has a much longer battery lifetime than BlackBerry PlayBook.
Despite of being the best tablet in our comparison, the LG G Pad 8.0 is also a bargain compared to the other tablets.
