BlackBerry PlayBook features a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have 2 processing cores and 1 GB of RAM, the BlackBerry PlayBook also has a graphics co-processor. BlackBerry PlayBook counts with a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a much lower resolution of 600 x 1024 and a much smaller display, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display.

Although Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it costs a lot more than the BlackBerry PlayBook, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the BlackBerry PlayBook. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), otherwise you can save some money and buy the BlackBerry PlayBook, letting go a couple specifications.
