Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is much better than BlackBerry PlayBook, having a score of 60.8 against 54.2. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a somewhat lighter device than the BlackBerry PlayBook, but both of them are 0.39inches thick. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has Android 4.1.2 OS, and BlackBerry PlayBook counts with BlackBerry Tablet OS OS.
BlackBerry PlayBook and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus both feature extremely similar displays, both of them have the same display pixel density, the same 600 x 1024 resolution and a display with the same size. BlackBerry PlayBook has a little bit more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
BlackBerry PlayBook counts with a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM memory and a Dual-Core processing unit, the BlackBerry PlayBook also has a graphics processor. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a much better battery life than BlackBerry PlayBook.
BlackBerry PlayBook takes a lot better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a lot higher resolution camera and a way better video definition.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than the BlackBerry PlayBook, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as BlackBerry PlayBook. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the BlackBerry PlayBook, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
