Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a general score of 58.1, which is just a bit better than BlackBerry PlayBook's 54.2 score. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 works with Android 3.0 OS, and BlackBerry PlayBook counts with BlackBerry Tablet OS OS. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and BlackBerry PlayBook were only released with a couple months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 construction is thinner but heavier.
The BlackBerry PlayBook has a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have 2 CPU cores, the BlackBerry PlayBook also has an additional graphics processor. Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a little sharper display than BlackBerry PlayBook, and although they both have a greater pixel amount per inch in the screen, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 also has a better 800 x 1280 resolution and a bigger display.
The BlackBerry PlayBook captures way better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a lot better video definition and a back facing camera with lot more megapixels. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9's storage for applications, games, photos and videos is very similar to the BlackBerry PlayBook one, they have equal internal storage.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a much longer battery duration than BlackBerry PlayBook.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 costs a lot more money than the BlackBerry PlayBook, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
