The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a global score of 58.8, which is a bit better than BlackBerry PlayBook's overall score of 54.2. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE comes with Android 4.0 operating system, and BlackBerry PlayBook has BlackBerry Tablet OS operating system. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE design is newer and somewhat thinner, but also somewhat heavier than BlackBerry PlayBook.

The BlackBerry PlayBook features just a little better performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the BlackBerry PlayBook also has an additional graphics processor.
