The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a general score of 68.3, which is a lot better than the BlackBerry PlayBook's global score of 54.2. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) comes with Android 8.1 Oreo OS, and BlackBerry PlayBook has BlackBerry Tablet OS OS. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s body is extremely newer, somewhat lighter and thinner than the BlackBerry PlayBook.
Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features just a little better hardware performance than BlackBerry PlayBook, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and faster) and a greater amount of RAM. The BlackBerry PlayBook features a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), although it has a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels, a little bit smaller screen and a little worse pixel quantity in each screen inch.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than BlackBerry PlayBook, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports up to 400 GB. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a way better battery duration than BlackBerry PlayBook.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) captures much clearer photographs and videos than BlackBerry PlayBook. Both have the same video resolution, the same 30 fps video frame rates and a same resolution camera.
Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) costs more money than BlackBerry PlayBook, but you can get a much better tablet for that few more dollars.
