Comparison review
The Dell Venue 8 Pro is slightly better than Asus VivoTab Smart, getting a score of 59.6 against 58.7. These tablets work with Windows OS (Operating System), but the Dell Venue 8 Pro has newer 8.1 Pro version and Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8, so it provides you some nice extra features and performance enhancements. Dell Venue 8 Pro is a just a bit thinner and way lighter tablet than the Asus VivoTab Smart.
The Dell Venue 8 Pro has a better screen than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 800 x 1280 and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better pixels density. Asus VivoTab Smart has a bit more powerful processing unit than Dell Venue 8 Pro, because although it has a lower number of cores, and they both have 2 GB of RAM memory, the Asus VivoTab Smart also counts with a graphics processor.
Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a much better camera than Dell Venue 8 Pro, because it has a much better resolution back facing camera. Dell Venue 8 Pro has a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Asus VivoTab Smart. They have exactly the same internal storage. Dell Venue 8 Pro counts with a really longer battery duration than Asus VivoTab Smart.
Although Dell Venue 8 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Asus VivoTab Smart, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus VivoTab Smart. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Asus VivoTab Smart, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
