Comparison review
The Dell Venue 8 Pro has a score of 59.6, which is a little bit better than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's 57.6 general score. Even being the best tablet in this review, Dell Venue 8 Pro is a heavier and somewhat thicker tablet than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. Dell Venue 8 Pro comes with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
The Dell Venue 8 Pro and the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD have incredibly similar CPUs, although the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has more RAM memory and a higher number of cores. The Dell Venue 8 Pro has a bit more vivid display than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, although it has a much lower resolution of 800 x 1280 and a lot lower pixels amount per display inch, they both have a screen of the same size.
Dell Venue 8 Pro counts with a superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has an external memory card slot that supports 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD takes a lot better videos and photos than Dell Venue 8 Pro, because it has a camera in the back with a way better resolution.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a bit longer battery lifetime than Dell Venue 8 Pro, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity.
Although Dell Venue 8 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Dell Venue 8 Pro, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, resigning a couple features and specifications.
