Comparison review

The Google Nexus 10 has a global score of 68.1, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's 66.2 overall score. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but Google Nexus 10 has the newer 5.1 version and Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has Android 4.4.2 version, so it provides you a couple nice extra features. Although it's the best in our current comparison, Google Nexus 10 is an older, somewhat thicker and heavier tablet than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0.

The Google Nexus 10 counts with a more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a lot greater amount of pixels per display inch, a way higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a larger display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Google Nexus 10, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB.

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Google Nexus 10, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with 2 more CPU cores (but slower) and a GPU. The Google Nexus 10 has a really longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has 9000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4450mAh.

The Google Nexus 10 features a better camera than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a lot better video quality and a lot more MP camera in the back.

Although Google Nexus 10 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your money.
