Comparison review
The Google Nexus 7 is slightly better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, having a 59.3 score against 59.2. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Google Nexus 7 has the newer 5.1 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version, so it provides the user some extra features. Despite being the best in our current comparison, we must note that it's also older, just a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a much better looking display than Google Nexus 7, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a better screen pixel density. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's memory for apps and games is very similar to the Google Nexus 7 one, both have equal 32 GB internal storage capacity.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a bit more powerful processor than Google Nexus 7, and although they both have 4 cpu cores, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a greater amount of RAM and a faster 450 MHz GPU. The Google Nexus 7 captures much better pictures and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
Google Nexus 7 counts with a very superior battery performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
Although Google Nexus 7 is a better device, it costs a little more than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
