The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition is just a bit better than the Google Nexus 7, with a 60.4 score against 59.3. Even though the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition and the Google Nexus 7 were released with only 8 months difference, Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition's construction is somewhat heavier but somewhat thinner than the Google Nexus 7. These tablets have Android operating system, but the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has the older 3.2 version and Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1 version.
Google Nexus 7 features a bit better CPU than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the Google Nexus 7 also has a better graphics co-processor working at 416 megahertz and a larger number of cores (and faster).
